Bidi Bidi Bom Bom: Selena Gomez Pays Tribute to Selena in San Antonio, TX!

Last night Disney star Selena Gomez paid homage to La Reina de Musica Tejano by singing Selena Quintanilla-Pérez's hit song Bidi Bidi Bom Bom at the San Antonio, Texas Rodeo! (February is totally Rodeo season in Texas!!) This was the perfect place for young Selena to show that she is proud of her background as a Latina and a native Texan! I think SQP would be proud.

Now those who know me know how much a love Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place AND how Selena Quintanilla-Pérez is probably one of my all time favorite singers, (I did an oral report on her entirely in Spanish when I studied abroad in Costa Rica.) So this moment for sure made my corazón feliz!! I love that young Selena chose to do this song in Texas and at a Rodeo! I mean SQP would have wanted it that way! I do have some tips for young Selena though!

Escucha me mija! If you are going to do the washing machine then you HAVE to pick you head up and do it with conviction and pride! I was very impressed with your Spanish on the song but you HAVE get on an entirely different level for SELENAS! They just don't make stage presence like they used to! That is really my only critique.
